it's just a seasonal thing. people feel romantic during winter.; it's cold. it's simply the comfort of a warm body pressed against yours. it's simply the feeling of his fingers grazing yours in the middle of the sidewalk while fresh snowflakes find their place on your cheek. it's simply sharing a cup of hot chocolate and accidentally whispering 'i love you' into your mug. shit, that was one of those things that wasn't supposed to be said aloud. eyes glancing at you across the table-for-two, window slowly fogging just like your brain; he whispers back above the steam, 'i love you too.'

it's simply the feeling of sweaty bodies beneath the sheets, gasping for spring air. it's simply the feeling of fresh flowers appearing at your doorstep, and the scent of brilliant lilacs wafting your way. it's simply sharing a cup of tea on the terrace and purposely whispering 'i love you' into your tea bag. yes, this time you wanted to shout it. eyes glancing at you down the railing, rain slowly falling down your shoulders and into your vulnerable eyes, and your hands reaching...always reaching; he whispers back through the droplets, 'we need to talk.'

it's just a seasonal thing. people feel more romantic during spring; oh wait....
