Loving someone unconditionally is a lot of work. I've heard it said that unconditional love should come easy, that it should be effortless. I haven't found that to be true. Does that mean that if it requires great effort at times, along with compromise and true hard work it isn't genuine love? Or does it just mean that nothing is ever that simple and we are all human?
